Google Play Testing Questionnaire: What to Prepare for Production Access

Google asks questions about the closed test, the app, and production readiness. The safest approach is to prepare factual answers from the test you actually ran.

The three sections

Google's current production-access application is divided into About your closed test, About your app/game, and Production readiness.

About your closed test

Be ready to explain how you recruited testers, how they interacted with the app, what feedback you received, and what you learned from the testing process.

About your app

Prepare a clear explanation of what the app does, who it is for, and the important user experience or functionality that testers evaluated.

Production readiness

Be able to explain why the app is ready to move beyond testing, including what you fixed or improved as a result of testing and feedback.

Do not invent answers

The best questionnaire answer is the one supported by your actual test evidence. Keep a testing log so your answers can be specific rather than generic.
